How to Make a Card with Bold Black Background

Hello friends! For this, I was inspired by the beautiful CAS card by Michelle. However, I thought I would add some twists. That's why, today, I decided to step out of my comfort zone of creating clean and simple cards and delve into the realm of maximalism in card making and chose a black background for my card. Additionally, I obviously used the Altenew Inspiration Challenge colors. Let's dive in and explore this unique and bold card together!

To make this card, I used a black panel and embossed it with the Altenew Ambridge Rose folder for texture. I then die-cut a light blue frame and pink flower petals, and green leaves using the Altenew Craft-A-Flower: Sulfur Cosmos Layering Die Set. I also die cut a sentiment from Simon Says Friend die set. After attaching the embossed panel to a black card base, I arranged the frame, flowers, and leaves on the card. Lastly, I added The Robin's Nest Creative clear mini dew drops for a final touch.

Thank you for stopping by my blog. Hope you enjoyed this card. I will come back again with another card. Till then stay crafty and cool,

yours,
Sadia
